Rebecca DeCosey washington of Waverly, Florida, died at The Groves Nursing Home Center in Lake Wales, Florida. She was born in Thomasville, Georgia. Moved to Waverly in 1942 from Thomasville.
She was a homemaker. She was a member and Mother of Mount Moriah Prmimitive Baptist Church in Waverly.Survivors include her daughter, Marilyn Washington of Waverly, Florida;
a borther, Elijah DeCosey of Lake Wales, Florida;
two sisters, Leola DeCosey of Waverly, Florida and Emma Travis of Thomasville, Georgia;
5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.Services : 2 p.m. Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Mt. Pleasant Church of God by Faith, Waverly, Florida. Visitation Friday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Mt. Moriah Primitive Baptist Church, Waverly.
